Description
The Strategy and Integration team within U.S. Bank’s PCS division has three functions: CRM (Salesforce) Enablement, API Product management, and API & SSO Integrations. The Salesforce platform supports over 250+ employees and 10+ business lines across Payments Consumer and Small Business mainly serving our B2B partner-facing teams as well as supporting business line, technology and operation functions The Salesforce Developer is responsible for the technical design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. This role will work closely with stakeholders across departments understanding business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable Salesforce applications. The Salesforce Developer ensures the platform is optimized, integrated with other business systems, and aligned with organizational goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements does not exclude them if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for the position. • Application Development & Customization: o Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce pages. o Implement automation using Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes. o Maintain high code quality standards by conducting peer reviews, writing unit tests, and adhering to Salesforce development best practices. • Integration & Data Management: o Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, or ETL tools. o Support data migration and transformation activities using tools such as Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or third-party solutions. o Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. • System Support & Maintenance: o Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators to troubleshoot technical issues, provide Tier 3 support, and ensure system stability. o Monitor system performance and proactively address platform limitations or governor limit constraints. o Assist with release management, deployment processes, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Stakeholder Collaboration o Partner with business analysts and project managers to gather and validate functional requirements. o Translate business requirements into detailed technical design documents and scalable solutions. o Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. • Professional Development & Compliance o Stay informed of Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends. o Maintain relevant Salesforce certifications as required by the organization. o Follow internal policies, coding standards, and IT governance frameworks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. • Salesforce Certified Developer (advanced Developer preferred) • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices. • Proficiency in Apex and JavaScript, with experience in developing custom Salesforce applications. • Experience with API development and integrations (REST/SOAP). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills/Experience • Certified Salesforce Business Analyst • Credit card payments and/or credit card partner management experience • Experience developing Salesforce platform for B2B environments particularly in Financial Services Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and security model. • Ability to design scalable, efficient solutions in alignment with business objectives. • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
