    TEKsystems (New Albany, OH)


    Role Overview

     

    We’re looking for Structured Cabling Technicians to join our team in New Albany, OH. Whether you’re entry level or have prior experience, this role offers hands-on work and opportunities to grow in the low-voltage and telecom industry.

    What You’ll Do

    + Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling following TIA/EIA standards

    + Perform or assist with RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations

    + Label and identify cables accurately

    + Complete punch-downs for telecom blocks

    + Test cables using tools like Fluke or EXFO (training provided if needed)

    + Gain exposure to fiber cable handling and dressing

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

    + Collaborate with experienced technicians and supervisors

    Schedule & Location

    + Shifts: Monday–Friday, 1st or 2nd shift

    + Extras: Overtime and occasional Saturday work may be required

    + Location: New Albany, OH

    Requirements

    + OSHA 10 certification (must have or be willing to obtain before starting)

    + Experience in structured cabling, low-voltage, or construction (entry-level and experienced candidates welcome)

    + Ability to follow safety protocols and work as part of a team

    + Must not have worked in the META center in the last 6 months

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
