Travel: Within a 100-mile radius (overnight travel may be required)

Key Responsibilities

+ Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and replace defective parts; reassemble and repair batteries and related equipment.

+ Install new equipment to ensure full functionality according to specifications.

+ Provide on-site technical assistance and training for safe equipment operation.

+ Maintain accurate service reports, expense reports, and compliance documentation.

+ Operate material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA requirements.

+ Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

+ Act as a communication link between customers and the company to deliver exceptional service.

Required Skills & Qualifications

+ Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Experience: Hands-on experience in an electrical-related field.

+ Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read and write in English (customer correspondence, reports, memos).

+ Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).

+ Ability to solve simple equations.

+ Basic electrical knowledge, including reading schematics and using test equipment.

Preferred Skills

+ Punchdown and structured cabling experience.

+ eLow-voltage and cable tech experience.

+ Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic fields (preferred).

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier loads with assistance.

+ Comfortable working in plant/warehouse environments with varying conditions.

+ Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

+ Forklift operation experience (or willingness to train).

+ Must be able to differentiate colors.

+ Willingness to be on-call and travel overnight as needed.

+ Compliance with PPE requirements at all times.

+ Regular onboarding required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashburn, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
