    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Manager Supply Chain Programs 2** to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located **onsite** in **Melbourne, Florida** .

    Essential Functions:

    Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of projects within a Program. Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for GSC duties and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers. Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies. Is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution. Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance. The selected candidate will be a high performing, experienced leader who is goal oriented and well equipped to partner with a wide range of stakeholders to support corporate, sector and division objectives.

    Execution:

    + Provides leadership for the GSC organization in a matrixed environment, ensuring strategies and plans are aligned with the business unit

    + Leads process improvement initiatives and optimization efforts

    + Will participate in leadership meetings, collaborating across functions for supply chain solutions

    + Coordinate planning, budget management and execution of supplier events

    + Total Cost Management of GSC budget allocations

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement

    + Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects

    + Must have Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience

    + At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role

    + Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

    + CAM certification and/or experience

    + GSC experience

    + Master's degree

    + Solid understanding of business systems

    + Supplier Management experience

    + Experience in GSC project management

    + Ability to deal effectively with change and challenges and helps others to do the same

     

    Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
