Contract To Hire
Hourly Rate: $72/hr. range. Benefits available
Conversion Salary: $135,000 range annually, plus benefits
Per Federal contract: US Citizenship Required
Must be able to pass a Federal background check for DHS USCIS Public Trust Clearance
*Must complete a HackerRank online Coding Exam to interview for this role*
AWS (Amazon Web Services) certification is nice to have (Preferred)
Technical environment: CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) and AWS setup is mature; the team is managing existing pipelines rather than building new ones; earlier migration was at the project’s start.
REQUIREMENTS
+ Minimum of 5/6+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps
+ Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end continuous delivery pipelines
+ Deep AWS cloud experience in a production environment (e.g., network, security, deployment, automation, serverless technologies)
+ Experience and understanding of SRE principles for highly scalable and reliable systems
+ Strong experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code
+ Implement cloud security best practices to safeguard resources
+ Develop resilient infrastructure to handle outages effectively
+ Optimize system uptime and troubleshoot/debug issues efficiently
+ Build monitoring dashboards to detect and resolve infrastructure problems proactively
+ Expertise in networking protocols, TLS, and SSL cert mgmt.
+ Experience implementing strategies for key rotation and debugging certificate-related issues

This test is a language-agnostic 60-minute coding challenge involving two applicable, real-world coding questions (API Analysis and Password Validation) and a domain-applicable SQL question (Weekend Appointments for Consular Services Rescheduling).
