    The Philosophy Department in the College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University seeks a part-time instructor of Philosophy to teach a section of PHI 197, Human Nature, a 3-credit course during Spring 2026.

     

    The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department.

     

    Course Description: Philosophical theories of human nature, their underlying metaphysical claims, and their ethical consequences.
