We are seeking a driven and experiencedAccount Executive to join our esteemed Life Sciences team at Lionbridge,focusing on the Medical Device Sector. In this pivotal role, you will beresponsible for independently engaging with prospective clients within assignedaccounts to present Lionbridge's innovative solutions tailored to the medicaldevice sector. Your primary objective will be to maintain a robust andup-to-date pipeline, identifying existing and upsell opportunities to driverevenue growth within this specialized industry.
You will ensure a tailored approach topresenting solutions that meet the unique requirements of our Med Devicecustomers. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will beessential to foster strong relationships and deliver exceptional customerservice. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding ofclient needs, effective communication skills, and a proven track record ofexceeding revenue quotas within the medical device sector.
What You Will Do
• Develop& Expand Relationships: Own and grow relationships across a diverseportfolio of life sciences clients, serving as a trusted advisor for globalcontent, translation, and digital solutions.
• ProspectWithin Accounts: Identify and engage new stakeholders and buyers to expandwallet share and support multi-year growth goals.
• TailorClient Solutions: Conduct deep discovery and needs assessments to craftproposals that solve client-specific challenges in areas such as clinicaldevelopment, regulatory submissions, labeling, and product launches.
• DrivePipeline & Revenue: Maintain a healthy pipeline of new and upsellopportunities; manage the sales process from initial outreach throughnegotiation and close.
• CollaborateInternally: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Solutions,Operations, and Project Management—to ensure flawless delivery and long-termclient success.
• StayIndustry-Smart: Monitor changes in the life sciences landscape, regulations,and industry innovations to bring fresh ideas and relevant insights to yourclients.
• Representthe Brand: Serve as a Lionbridge ambassador in every interaction—online,in-person, and at industry events—presenting with clarity, confidence, andcredibility.
To Be Successful You Will Have
• SalesExperience: Proven track record in B2B sales or account management, ideallywithin the life sciences sector (pharma, biotech, medtech, or healthcare).
• RevenueOwnership: History of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and deliveringgrowth within a defined territory or account list.
• PharmaInsight: Strong understanding of the life sciences content lifecycle, includingregulatory constraints, multilingual requirements, and digital transformationtrends.
• RelationshipBuilding: Ability to establish trust and credibility with both business andtechnical stakeholders at all levels.
• SalesStrategy: Skilled in qualifying opportunities, presenting solutions,negotiating pricing, and closing deals.
• CRMProficiency: Familiar with Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage pipeline andforecast accurately.
• Agility& Drive: Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently in afast-paced, matrixed environment.
• CollaborativeMindset: Strong internal collaboration skills to drive aligned, client-centeredoutcomes across departments.
• Education:Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences background or advanced degree is aplus.
