The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

     

    The Senior Manager of Organizational Design & Effectiveness will develop high-performing organizations by improving how work flows across teams. You will partner with leaders to clarify operating models, align roles and decision rights, and ensure the organization is structured to deliver strategic priorities. You’ll lead organizational redesign efforts end-to-end, from leadership alignment through activation, using data and feedback to continuously improve how the organization works.

     

    Your leadership will help the organization operate with focus, speed, and adaptability, enabling better decisions and better outcomes. This role is about shaping how we work today while building the capabilities we need for what comes next.

    What You’ll Do

    + Diagnose how work happens by analyzing structures, roles, decision flows, and employee experience insights to identify opportunities for clarity, simplification, and adaptability.

    + Design future-ready operating models that clarify accountability, align capabilities to strategy, and intentionally integrate AI to enhance decision quality and execution speed.

    + Lead organizational redesign efforts end-to-end, guiding leaders through alignment and implementation using iterative, transparent, and collaborative approaches.

    + Activate new ways of working through leadership sessions, co-design workshops, team resets, and coaching that support adoption of new roles, workflows, and AI-enabled practices.

    + Develop and implement human-centered change strategies that help people understand the “why,” feel supported through transition, and build confidence in new behaviors.

    + Use data and feedback loops to measure adoption and outcomes and refine operating models and organizational structures as teams mature.

    + Partner across functions to ensure designs support real business needs, build shared ownership, and reinforce how teams work together.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Experience in organizational development, including designing and implementing structures, processes, and operating models that improve team effectiveness.

    + Experience providing consultation and guidance to leaders on organizational design or transformation initiatives.

    + Experience using organizational design tools and analytics to support structure and workforce planning (e.g., OrgVue or similar tools).

    + Experience facilitating workshops and sessions that build alignment, surface insights, and drive decision-making.

    + Experience communicating across diverse stakeholders to achieve clarity, alignment, and shared understanding in complex situations.

    + Background in systems-focused change management approaches that enable sustainable shifts in behavior and ways of working.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Background in human-centered design to understand team experiences, surface needs, and co-create sustainable organizational solutions.

    + Experience applying agile and iterative methodologies to test ideas, gather feedback, and refine solutions in partnership with stakeholders.

    + Familiarity with AI and conversational tools, including the ability to craft prompts that enhance analysis, synthesis, and deliverable creation.

    LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

     

    The pay range for this role is $142,000 to $230,000 USD. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
