Job Description
On site role in Thermo Fisher Scientific site in Waltham, Allentown, Center Valley, Bohemia or other PSG site.

How you will make an impact:
As a HRBP/SR HR Manager, you will act as a trusted strategic partner, coach, and change agent to global business and functional leaders. To achieve this, you will collaborate to develop and translate forward-thinking strategy in the areas of talent management, organizational development, performance management, career development, employee relations, diversity, compensation planning, and change leadership into practical HR actions.
What you will contribute:
Talent Advocate
Translate strategic priorities into innovative HR actions and solutions that advance the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of diverse, hardworking people resources. Identify and resolve gaps in talent attraction and management, including recruitment, assessment, and development to cultivate a positive culture built upon our 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement).
HR Analytics and Data Driven Insights
Use data and people metrics dashboards to drive continuous improvement of talent and business capabilities, as well as influence change in HR tactics/strategy.
Consultation
Deliver mentorship to people managers regarding HR policies and employee training needs. Counsel employees and leadership in the navigation of employee relations matters, including performance management, formal/informal investigations, and resulting disciplinary actions. Guide leaders and teams on human capital strategies with a balance of innovation, risk, compliance, and culture shaping considerations that produce results.
Change Leadership
Serve as a motivator for change by championing initiatives for the assigned site/client groups, including restructuring events. Craft innovative solutions to organizational design issues that support long-term business goals.
Organizational Adaptability and Resolve
Build partnerships with site, HR, and business leaders to guide site activities, shape culture, and drive employee engagement. Establish a solid organizational network that promotes core, common, and consistent activities.
Project/Process Management
Lead HR and process improvement projects and support annual HR processes, as well as coordinate effective compensation equity and planning for assigned client groups.
How you will get here:
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field required
+ Advanced degree preferred
+ PHR/SPHR and other professional certification is desirable
Experience:
+ 8+ years of comprehensive HR experience in a global environment; prior experience as a business partner.
+ Expertise in implementing business and change programs and processes that yield positive results.
+ Proven results partnering within a matrix and with HR COE partners to reach consensus and achieve favorable outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Broad knowledge of human capital practices and HR domain expertise, including (but not limited to): salary administration and performance review processes, performance management, proactive employee relations, issue investigation and resolution, and recruiting.
+ Understanding of global labor and employment law.
+ Proficient critical thinking and analytical skills, regularly turning data into insights and action.
+ Outstanding project management, communication, and presentation skills.
+ Effective consultation skills with the ability to influence leaders.
+ Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and act with a high level of tact and composure.
+ Skilled in cultivating and developing professional relationships with leadership, subordinates, and peers.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $130,000.00–$160,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
