QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

+ High School graduate or equivalent.

+ CPR and first aid training within first 3 months of employment required.

+ One year working with special needs children preferred.

+ Willingness to work with and show respect for students with special needs.

+ Knowledge of the district discipline policy

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality

+ Ability to establish a congenial relationship with students, parents, and staff.

+ Ability to effectively manage behavioral problems and reinforce student behavior plan.
