Speech-Language Pathologist(SLP) – School-Based Apple Valley, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: ASAP to end of 2025-2026 School year
Schedule: Monday–Friday SchoolHours
Pay: $65-$75 per hour
Hours per Week: 30–35
Grade Levels: K–12
Setting: In-person only
Caseload: 80–90 students (shared among 2–3 SLPs and 2–3 SLPAs at oneschool site)
Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting isresponsible for:
+ Performing student evaluations.
+ Providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with each student’s individualized plan of care and physician’s orders.
Minimum Requirements
+ Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment.
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by state/contract.
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
