    Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Substance Abuse/Detox

     

    Start Date: December 1, 2025 or ASAP

     

    Contract Length: 8 Weeks

     

    Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

     

    Schedule: 36 hours/week, every other weekend required

     

    Openings: Multiple

    Pay Rates:

    + Travel LPN (50+ miles): $1461/week (blended)

    + Local LPN (under 50 miles): $35/hour

    Job Description:

    We are seeking compassionate and skilled LPNs for a behavioral health facility in Durham, NC, specializing in substance abuse and detox services. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about mental health and addiction recovery, and who thrive in a structured, supportive environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide direct patient care in a detox/substance abuse setting

    + Monitor and document patient progress and vitals

    + Administer medications and assist with treatment plans

    + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery

    Requirements:

    + Active LPN license in North Carolina or compact state

    + Minimum 1 year of psych or detox experience preferred

    + BLS certification

    + Strong communication and de-escalation skills
