Job Title: Certified Athletic Trainer

Contract Length: Remainder of the School Year

Hours/Week: Full time and part time opportunities available based upon coverage needs and season

Schedule: Typically 4:00/4:30 PM – 9:00 PM on weekdays, depending on practice and game times

Primary Sports Coverage: Wrestling, Baseball, Soccer, Softball

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer to support our student-athletes during practices and games. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports medicine and committed to ensuring the health and safety of our athletes. New graduates welcome to apply.

Minimum Requirements:

+ State Athletic Training licensure, certification, and/or registration (as applicable by state)

+ Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)

+ National certification or certification by the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association

+ Minimum of three (3) years of athletic training experience preferred

+ Current CPR certification

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities:

+ Provide athletic training services during practices and games

+ Evaluate and treat sports-related injuries

+ Collaborate with coaches, school staff, and healthcare professionals

+ Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments

+ Promote injury prevention strategies and wellness education
