    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | School-Based | In-Person | Part-Time | 39-Week Contract

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services to students in a school setting. This part-time role begins ASAP and runs through the end of the school year.

    Position Overview

    + Location: In-person, Pre-K building (flexed across 3 campuses)

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Duration: 28 weeks

    + Schedule: 1–2 days per week, 8:15am–3:15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)

    + Openings: 1 position available

    + Interview: Flexible (in-person or virtual)

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans

    + Provide and document therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and plan of care

    + Supervise onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

    + Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators to support student achievement and independence

    + Ensure compliance with professional standards and district requirements

    Caseload Details

    + Approximately 80 students total, split with a remote SLP

    + 50 students in Pre-K, 20 in Intermediate, 10 in Junior High

    + Flexed through three school buildings, with primary station at Pre-K campus

    + Support from onsite SLPA and remote SLP through another agency

    Requirements

    + Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required per contract/state)

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR, TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray, and health certificate (if required)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Minimum age: 18
