Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; rotating weekends, rotating holidays

_All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability._
Join our Acute Care Adult Post-Surgical Unit/Acute Medical Unit (6 East)!
_Primary Patient Population:_
+ Post-surgical patients from approximately 14 different service lines
+ Bariatric recovery
+ Gender Affirming procedural recovery
+ Acute Medical
_Primary skills utilized/learned:_
+ In cooperation and conjunction with the nurse manager, plans, coordinates, and evaluates all unit activities impacting patient care delivery
+ Holds self and staff accountable for identification, evaluation, documentation, and appropriate intervention of patients’ needs to ensure quality
+ Ensures the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
+ Works with the nurse manager to support unit operations, including practice and financial management.
_Personnel ANM will work with_ _:_
+ RN, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Dieticians
_Number of beds on unit:_
+ 34 bed spaces (14 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms)

Required Qualifications:
+ Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
+ Current AHA certification(s) relevant to clinical practice area (as outlined in the RN Clinical Nurse job description).
+ 2 years of experience as a registered nurse. Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills
