Join our team as a Logistics Coordinator II!
Summary: Supports transportation department by creating reports and coordinating frozen, DSD and International shipment logistics. This role manages domestic and export operations, including cold storage coordination and compliance with international shipping requirements, to ensure efficient and accurate product delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with export and import regulations.
• Manage cold storage logistics and temperature-controlled product movements.
• Create and coordinate delivery routes for DSD and domestic shipments to ensure efficient transportation.
• Maintain ongoing communication with drivers, vendors, and costumers to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and process export documentation (Commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.).
• Work closely with freight forwarders and cold storage facilities for international orders.
• Generate routine reports and transportation data to support performance tracking and compliance.
• Audit freight invoices and verify negotiated rates for both domestic and international carriers.
• Track and monitor shipments, resolving any delivery or documentation issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Production, and Customer Service to support order fulfillment and delivery schedules.
+ Assists in running reports from electronic log device (ELD) system relating to DOT compliance and safety.
+ Adheres to safety, food safety and quality and Good Manufacturing Practice regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8AM-4PM

Education and/or Experience:
+ High School Diploma or GED;
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related business field; or
+ One to three years of international logistics/export experience.
+ Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to operate or learn to operate electric jack.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Must possess a current, valid driver's license.
Computer Skills:
+ Advanced knowledge in all Microsoft Suite Products
+ Strong knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment system; e.g. Savanna.
+ Strong knowledge of Oracle.
