About this Job
We’re looking for an IDD Associate Administrator 1 to join our dedicated team at Central Louisiana Supports and Services Center (CLSSC) —a facility committed to providing active treatment and healthcare services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and orthopedic disabilities in the least restrictive environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Seven years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology or special education; OR
Six years of full-time work experience plus four years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology or special education; OR
A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology or special education; OR
An advanced degree in health administration, hospital administration, special education, psychology, or social work plus three years of experience in health services or developmentally disabled services, hospital administration, social services, psychology or special education.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Manages the active treatment department which is responsible for development, implementation, monitoring, and revision of population-specific treatment programs and individual-specific active treatment programs for all residents at CLLSC.
+ Develops, implements, monitors, and revises, as appropriated, the goals and quality indicators for the active treatment department.
+ Acts as active treatment consultant/advisor to other professionals, administrators, psychologist, occupational, physical and speech therapists, dietitians, nurses, physicians, and staff.
+ Advises facility administrators and department managers/supervisor on issues.
+ Provides consultation and technical support for staff, IDT and individuals as needed.
+ Provides education regarding Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) roles and responsibilities to new and existing QIDP to build the competency of active treatment staff in performing the essential QIDP functions Obtain relative data and update monthly the Emergency Evacuation binder.
+ Update quarterly the Visitation Binder and ensure it is turned in to the Financial Department in a timely manner. Facilitate maximizing potential for independence, attainment of treatment goals, and practicing individual rights for residents campus-wide across treatment programs.
+ Support, facilitate, and monitor continual efforts to enhance education and integration in community placement.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: May be filled as Probation or Permanent
Work Schedule: Will be required to work 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday
Compensation: Position eligible for on-call pay
