    * Duration of the Contract: 6/30/2026 with potential for extension

    * Onsite or Remote: No WI residency required. Open to nationwide candidates. DWD is currently allowing remote work from within the continental US. The contractor must be available online, be present to meet all workload requirements, and must attend all scheduled meetings during DWD standard working hours of 7.45 am – 4.30 pm Central Time. DWD can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with a reasonable advance notice.

    * Project details: This position is part of the new modernization project at DWD, and will be working in the benefits system.

    Description :

    This is a position needed for the development and support of critical priority applications in the Divisions of Unemployment Insurance. Project work will include: application design and development, new development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integration, web development, and Agile Scrum development methodology. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis. Certified Microsoft .Net Web Developer IIIcapabilities with 5 or more years of experience in .NET core, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

     

    Previous work experience in government, insurance, accounting, or case management systems a plus
