We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hyperion Planning and Essbase Specialist to join our finance and analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of Oracle Hyperion Planning applications and Essbase cubes. This role will work closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver robust planning, forecasting, and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Hyperion Planning applications and Essbase cubes.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Develop and optimize calculation scripts, business rules, and data forms.
Manage metadata, data loads, and security within Hyperion applications.
Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform system administration tasks including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, performance, and user access.
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide end-user training and support.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes.
Proficiency in writing Essbase calculation scripts and business rules.
Experience with Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, and Data Management (FDMEE).
Familiarity with integration tools and data sources (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP, flat files).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM (Planning, FCCS, etc.).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., MaxL, SQL, VBScript).
Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Oracle Hyperion certification is a plus.
