    Team Lead, Utilization & Case Management

We’re seeking an experienced **Team Lead** **RN** to lead and support our Quality Resources (QR) utilization and case management team. This role blends leadership, clinical expertise, and operational excellence—perfect for an RN who enjoys guiding teams, optimizing processes, and driving measurable improvement.

    What You’ll Do

    + Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support to a team of utilization and case managers

    + Serve as a subject-matter expert and personally manage approximately 50% of a primary caseload

    + Support staff performance, development, coaching, and evaluation

    + Collaborate with the Associate Director, Corporate Care Continuity Services (AD CCS) on performance monitoring, problem-solving, and program improvements

    + Ensure full implementation, compliance, and effectiveness of the Utilization Program Plan

    + Promote alignment with the Corporate Quality & Safety Plan and the Corporate Strategic Plan

    + Utilize data to analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, and facilitate projects

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience

    + Registered Nurse with **current Missouri RN license**

    + Certified Nurse Case Manager (or ability to obtain within 18 months)

    + Minimum 2 years of experience with progressive responsibility

    + Demonstrated success managing projects and improvement initiatives

    + Strong critical thinking, facilitation, and coaching skills

    + Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and utilization/case management modules in eCare and STAR

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to read and speak English fluently

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master’s degree

    + 3+ years of experience in healthcare nurse case management

    + Proven track record leading change in a diverse healthcare environment

    + Green Belt certification

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Access
