Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the FORGE (Connections 2.0) program services to ensure high-quality client care, regulatory and contract compliance, and achievement of outcome measures. The role includes supervising staff, maintaining and reporting on contract performance, and developing and strengthening community partnerships to enhance program visibility and impact.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Direct supervision of FORGE (Connections 2.0) program staff including Lead Case Manager, Case Managers, Peer Parent Partners, Career Readiness Specialists and Data Manager
+ Responsible for all aspects of program and contract compliance
+ Responsible for training, supervision, and scheduling of all staff, trainees, and volunteers.
+ Provide staff observation and supervision on a regular basis.
+ Meet with staff no less than once weekly.
+ Report to Program Director on a weekly basis.
+ Assist the Program Director with program design, development, and implementation;
+ Review each employee’s job performance on a annual basis (or more often if necessary). Hire or terminate employees with advice and consent form the Program Director and Human Resources.
+ Write and submit required reports and/or appropriate data for administrative and marketing needs.
+ Proficient in WestCare’s electronic health record (EHR) and grant data systems, including NFORM.
+ Responsible for compliance with health, fire and other regulatory standards;
+ Acts as WestCare representative/liaison with other agencies (Law Enforcement agencies; Juvenile Court Facilities; Child Welfare agencies; Community Hospitals, etc.) regarding all client/service delivery issues.
+ Attend regular professional education classes/workshops to continuously improve job skills or promote the image of the agency.
+ Respond to all emergency situations that would necessitate intervention;
+ Insure that all required policies and procedures of WestCare are carried out.
+ Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Certifications/Licenses:
+ Ability to pass First level and NABS background clearance
+ Valid driver’s license
+ During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you
Education:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, Sociology, or a closely related field in behavioral health.
Experience and Competencies:
+ 5 years recent management or supervisory experience.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with others in a manner that is pleasant and professional.
+ Ability to work well in a team environment.
+ Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.
+ Ability to operate a computer and complete documents in Microsoft Word program formats.
+ Ability to respond as needed to crisis situations in an efficient manner.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
