Key Responsibilities
The DAS Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), DRAN/ERRCS, and in-building wireless projects - ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role bridges engineering, operations, and field execution, driving project schedules, budgets, quality, and stakeholder communication from kickoff through close-out.
Core Responsibilities & Outcomes
+ Plan and manage all phases of DAS and in-building wireless projects - from RF survey, design, and procurement through construction, commissioning, and customer acceptance.
+ Own project scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring technical quality and adherence to customer requirements.
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams - including engineering, construction, and field crews - to ensure seamless execution and timely issue resolution.
+ Track financial performance (ROMs, budgets, BOMs, change orders) to maintain predictable margins and cost discipline.
+ Lead customer and partner communications, including recurring status updates, design reviews, and project health checks.
+ Facilitate internal project huddles and maintain alignment across Estimating, Operations, and Engineering.
+ Oversee documentation control using Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet to ensure version integrity and clear audit trails.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
+ Develop detailed project schedules, action logs, and resource plans; manage milestones and dependencies.
+ Collaborate with RF/design engineers to validate design deliverables, budgets, and equipment specifications.
+ Review and approve construction drawings, head-end layouts, and as-built documentation.
+ Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources to meet project timelines and quality standards.
+ Manage customer expectations through proactive communication and risk management.
+ Drive project close-out activities, including testing, punch lists, AHJ documentation, and handover packages.
+ Use Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint) and Smartsheet for real-time project tracking and reporting.
Position Requirements
Qualifications
Must-Have
+ 7–10+ years of experience managing DAS/ERRCS/in-building wireless projects.
+ Proven success delivering projects from kickoff through close-out with schedule, budget, and quality accountability.
+ Solid understanding of DAS/DRAN/RF system design and construction workflows.
+ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills across internal teams and external stakeholders.
+ Financial management experience (ROMs, budgets, cost tracking, and change-order management).
+ Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint), Smartsheet (project tracking and reporting), Visio/CAD for design coordination, and iBwave or equivalent RF design platforms.
Nice-to-Have
+ BSEE, Construction Management, or related degree.
+ PMP or other recognized project management certification.
+ Familiarity with iBwave or similar RF design platforms.
+ Experience overseeing commissioning, sweep/PIM testing, and public-safety system compliance.
+ Large-venue or enterprise project delivery experience.

+ Attention to Detail: Ensures design accuracy, version control, and compliance with project and AHJ requirements.?
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
+ Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
+ Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
+ Periodic on-site visits for surveys, field validation, and commissioning support — may involve walking large venues or construction environments.
+ Communicate effectively with employees and external partners via phone, email, and in-person.
+ Travel required 10–25% to customer sites and job locations as needed.
+ Must be able to carry standard survey equipment (typically <25 lbs.).
