    Overview

     

    Join the Intuit Mailchimp organization, focused on Mailchimp frontdoor, Onboarding and personalization products, as a Senior Staff Software Engineer to help us build a strong technical foundation to nurture our customers by supporting our internal product and operations team. Our approach involves building products that directly support Mailchimp customer success and simultaneously creating a robust foundation to connect Mailchimp's systems with Intuit's extensive capabilities, ultimately enabling the One Intuit Platform.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead a technical vision with a platform mindset to build and integrate with reusable components and work towards a long term vision with short term wins.

    + Responsible for the execution of the vision – insights from customer behavior leading to better customer nurture optimization.

    + Drives velocity in the organization by accelerating customer, business, and technology outcomes by identifying and driving key opportunities across the company.

    + Drives significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal layers of the

    + Lead operational excellence to deliver highly available, scalable web applications and microservices with utmost attention to quality, security, and performance metrics for APIs and experiences.

    + Engrossed in the details of product, tech and architecture in order to co-create a feasible development plan with cross-functional stakeholders (Product management and Design).

    + Collaborate cross-functionally (with product management, design and program management) through change management and provide the technical guidance and evaluations needed to maintain high quality product experiences for customers.

    + Proactively identify team Define and execute remediation steps to keep the team velocity and deliverables value to customers high.

    + Creates robust, scalable, and secure technical designs, effectively implementing them to balance short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of applications

    Qualifications

    + 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with 2+ years of working as a solutions architect.

    + Experience with backend technologies (PHP, Java, AWS) and integrating with enterprise capabilities

    + Comfortable with frontend technologies (React, CSS) and driving performance and monitoring for optimal customer experience

    + Back end development experience with Data Pipelines & applying them to user experiences or backend solutions.

    + Experience with cloud data warehousing (BigQuery or similar)

    + Experience with back-end technologies like PHP/Java/Kotlin,

    + Typescript/NodeJS, Spring, NodeJS

    + Demonstrate experience working across different altitudes, from code quality/delivery management and reviewing technical architecture proposals to communicating strategy and domain capabilities plans with team and senior leadership.

    + Demonstrate experience building and operating large scale web platforms and microservices in an API-first environment, with emphasis on managing operational excellence and high-quality customer experiences.

    + Demonstrate experience works across teams and functions to break down barriers to enable teams to move with urgency.

    + Communicates clearly, succinctly, and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers, and management (including executives).

    + "Self-starter" attitude and the ability to make independent

    + Strong mentoring Able to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.

    + BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
