Overview
If you are a highly motivated individual with a business or tax background and experience in managing a high performing team, then we need your help leading our TurboTax Community Tax Expert Team. You will be providing leadership and performance management to our Community Tax Experts, who provide written explanation and guidance to customers via the TurboTax online communities.
The Seasonal TurboTax Community Tax Expert Manager is responsible for inspiring and managing a team of Community Support Tax Experts or Leads to ensure customers are receiving confidence and answers so they can file their own taxes.
Responsibilities
+ Deliver the highest quality support to TurboTax customers by hiring, training, and performance management of talent
+ Drive customer satisfaction and community engagement through proactive and constructive engagement in a cross-functional team
+ Effectively use data to evaluate, identify, and coach performance
+ Lead the team through a fast paced, constantly changing environment
+ Provide growth and collaboration opportunities through use of employee one-on-one sessions, team operational meetings, and ongoing learning sessions
+ Manage community projects for quality review, content, and engagement with a high level of organization and follow-through
+ Review and complete administrative tasks such as payroll and schedules in a timely manner
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
+ Remote work-from-home
+ Ability to type or voice-to-text proficiently
Qualifications
+ Active EA Certification, CPA, or JD in state of residency
+ Experience supporting TurboTax customers
+ Extensive prior experience preparing individual returns; business and estate taxes is a plus
+ Understanding of how to manage/lead a customer facing team, guiding them to be more successful
+ Ability to effectively communicate with individuals possessing diverse knowledge levels and personalities
+ Strong participation in online communities, forums, membership groups, or social media, personally or professionally
+ Strong reading comprehension and superb written skills, including spelling, grammar and English composition
+ Strong business acumen and technical proficiency using a variety of cloud-based applications, search engines, Google Workspace, and essential computer skills such as Microsoft Office and file management
+ Ability to work a seasonal full-time (40 hours per week) on a flexible schedule.
