    The Position

    GCS RIS Implementation Solution Manager

    The Opportunity:

    As GCS RIS Implementation Solution Manager you are accountable for the successful implementation of Roche’s digital products at the customer. In early product life cycle phases you will own the implementation end-to-end and in a scale-phase you will support the affiliates in their execution.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities:

    + Supporting local, regional, and global consultancy teams in tender processes, including delivering demos and expertise on laboratory organization.

    + Designing workflow, laboratory organization, and connectivity concepts for customer proposals and solution planning.

    + Providing customer-project insights to the Product Definition Team to influence product direction and requirements.

    + Enhancing product serviceability and implementability across the life cycle while ensuring alignment with the overall solution architecture.

    + Leading end-to-end implementation activities in early product life cycle stages, acting as the SME for RIS installation and integration alongside Engineering.

    + Assessing and optimizing customer workflows in collaboration with country representatives to ensure effective deployment.

    + Supporting countries and customers with installation requirements, upgrade planning, configuration, testing, and connectivity verification for IT solutions and instruments.

    + Enabling local teams by supporting customer training, first-level support readiness, and serving as SME for lab processes and IT solutions.

    Who You Are:

    + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (IT, Lab Technology, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + 5+ years’ experience in IT, lab organization, hospital environments, or work with networks, interfaces, and databases.

    + Experience with navify Lab Ops (cobas Infinity) is highly desirable.

    + Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.

    + Proven problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach within interdisciplinary environments.

    + Willingness to travel up to 80% nationally and internationally, with an independent yet team-oriented working style.

    + Technical experience in networking (TCP/IP, firewalls), cloud/edge computing, and software development.

     

    The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is 95,100 - 176,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
