• Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Job Duties:

    -First two weeks Monday through Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM (Training) then 6:00PM-6:00AM 3 days on 3 days off) (NIGHT SHIFT Tech) - Hours rotate from 36 to 48hrs a week.

     

    -Oversee operations of wastewater treatment facility.

     

    -Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wastewater treatment regulations.

     

    -Monitor and adjust physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes.

     

    -Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems.

     

    -Monitor the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.

     

    -Record operational trends and plant performance on daily log sheets.

     

    -Adjust process control instrumentation as needed.

     

    -Manage chemical inventory and inspect dosing pumps and storage tanks.

     

    -Ensure proper operation of samplers and collect process monitoring samples.

     

    -Perform field analytical tests on collected samples.

     

    -Transfer sludge by manually operating valves and pumping equipment.

     

    -Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.

     

    -Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

     

    -Perform other related duties as required.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Able to work night shift.

     

    -Willing to get wastewater license within 18 months.

     

    -Mechanical experience (ie: works with pipes, valves, machinery, storage tanks).

     

    -Be able to pass background and driving record check (within the past 7 years). -SCADA experience

     

    -CDL license
