Join our Xylem team as an Aftermarket Manager (Rotary Equipment) to lead our aftermarket engineering, field service and Customer service teams supporting Flygt AC Pumps (http://www.xylem.com/en-us/brands/flygt/acpumps/) in Pewaukee, WI. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and customer service staff, managing field service, repair and spare parts for all Aftermarket projects. This is an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, grow Aftermarket business, collaborate cross-functionally, and make a significant impact for our customers.
This position is 100% onsite** **- field 25% of the time
What You’ll Do
Lead and develop a team of Technical Service Engineers, Technicians, Order Administrator and Customer service.** **(** **3 direct & 9 indirect – few contract employees)
Manage and develop Customer service team to ensure timely and accurate spare parts quotes, proactive customer engagement and collaboration with suppliers.
Build strategy to grow Aftermarket business, leveraging installed base, market trends and strong capabilities.
Oversee all aftermarket engineering activities, including pump inspections, repair proposals, and field service operations.
Assign and manage project workloads focusing on customer and project requirements.
Ensure quality and timeliness of design and service execution to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Build and track performance metrics to drive strong team performance.
Build and leverage AI / Technology tools to drive productivity and maximize customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Operations to plan and manage shop labor and workspace allocation for repair jobs.
Travel to customer and vendor sites to resolve technical issues and provide hands-on support.
Perform field service work, including installation, repair, startup, and system vibration analysis.
Support quotation development and margin approval in accordance with company guidelines.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance team efficiency.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders on driving Aftermarket growth.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Experience & Skills:
Preferred: 10+ years of experience with** **rotating equipment or** **pump design, manufacturing, and/or field service
Strong background in pump mechanical design, hydraulics, and manufacturing processes
Experience with vibration analysis and technical troubleshooting
Effective leadership and team development capabilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Physical & Work Environment
This role involves working in office, shop, and field environments and may include lifting up to 50 lbs.
Regularly requires sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and movement through facilities and job sites.
May include confined space work as needed.
Travel required up to 25%, including domestic and international assignments.

The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $169,000, 15% annual bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
