The BAE Systems York, PA site, is seeking a Quality Analyst for the Receiving Inspection Quality Team.
In this role as a Quality Tech, you will support the following responsibilities:
+ Develop and write inspection plans for supplied materials.
+ Read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
+ Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
+ Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and data files.
+ Process non-conformances for disposition.
+ Provide technical quality support and guidance to Quality Inspectors.
+ Monitor welding inspections.
+ Program and train other on the use of 3D Scanners.
+ Program Keyence precision measuring equipment including hand-held CMM.
+ Provide technical guidance to the Material Planner Coordinator team
+ First shift position 9/80 schedule available after fully trained in position with support all Shift when required.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Typically requires High School diploma, or the equivalent, and four (4) years' experience, or the overall equivalent.
+ Basic computer skills in MS Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
+ Ability to read, interpret and work to technical drawings and blueprints.
+ Working knowledge in GD&T principles and applications.
+ Ability to read and comprehend raw material specifications.
+ Be able to support 1 st Shift 06:00 AM 3:30 PM on a 5/40 and 9/80 schedule.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ ORACLE MRP system.
+ TipQA system.
+ First article inspection preparation.
+ PFEMAs.
+ Writing inspection plans.
+ Understand Key Product Characteristics (KPC)
+ Handheld CMM, Faro Arm/ Laser Tracker and/or Keyence inspection technology.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $57866 - $98372
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
