Job Description
Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a certified Jira Administrator with broad tooling expertise to maintain and optimize the development and build organization’s tool ecosystem. This role blends technical administration, responsive support, and proactive system hygiene across multiple platforms, supporting about 30+ engineering teams globally. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing data integrations, and supporting users in a dynamic, tech-driven environment. There is also opportunities to own other areas within the organization, such as program management focused on releasing new products to market.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor designated Slack channels for tooling-related questions and issues
• Respond to and resolve Jira configuration problems, workflow issues, and user questions
• Provide timely support for tool-related incidents and user requests
• Maintain accurate tooling data across platforms using spreadsheets and databases
• Develop and maintain Google Apps Scripts to automate data workflows and API integrations
• Verify data accuracy in system integrations (e.g., Jellyfish roster imports)
• Ensure data consistency across connected tools
• Conduct regular audits to identify and archive unused or obsolete Jira projects
• Manage team configurations in Productboard (setup, updates, removal of inactive teams)
• Perform system cleanup across the tooling ecosystem
• Maintain documentation of tool configurations and processes

Skills and Requirements
• Currently a Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator
• 3-5 years experience as an admin with the interest of becoming a program manager focused on releasing product.
• Proven experience administering Jira and related Atlassian tools
• Strong proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel and data management
• Experience writing Google Apps Scripts and working with APIs
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
• Excellent written communication skills for Slack-based support
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills · Agile certification (CSM, PSM, or similar)
• Experience with Productboard administration
• Familiarity with Jellyfish, OpsLevel or similar engineering management platforms
• Background in process improvement and tool optimization
Experience in fast-paced technology environments
