• Software Process Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Process Engineer to join one of our global manufacturing clients out of either San Diego, CA or Southfield, MI. This person will join a team responsbile for developing advanced automotive electronic systems using wireless technology. You will be working on a team supporting existing customers with enhanced feature development along with adapting the technology to reach new customer segments. This Process Engineer will work cross functional with team members to decipher customer requirements, create software design/test plans, and user documentation. This person will ensure that the team is compliant alongside software requirements and while working on software process improvements.

     

    $30/hr to $60/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3+ years of software design experience, preferably within the automotive industry

    - Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

    - Hands on embedded software development using a structured programming language (C, C++, etc.) - Experience within V2X
