    Job Description

    • Systems and Design/Release Engineering:

     

    o Requirement decomposition and cascade.

     

    o Test case creation and sign-off testing.

     

    o Vehicle-specific Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R).

     

    o Software release planning and execution using Ford’s WERS and IVS systems.

     

    o Perform DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis).

     

    o Define vehicle-specific configuration specifications for Telematics Control Unit (TCU).

     

    o Define CAN message database (CMDB) and conduct network interface design reviews.

     

    o Create Special Characteristics Communication and Agreement Forms (SCCAF) for supplier and Ford assembly lines.

     

    $40/hr to $45/hr

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Experience: 3+ years in a similar role.

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Programming, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.

    • Preferred Expertise:

     

    o Familiarity with Ford GPDS processes.

     

    o Knowledge of automotive electrical architecture and protocols.

     

    o Experience testing hardware/software on bench or in-vehicle.

     

    o Hardware experience is a plus.

     

    o Vector CAN tools
