Job Description

A Test Engineer in the manufacturing space typically spends the day developing and maintaining test programs using LabVIEW to validate product functionality, operating dielectric and vibration testing equipment to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and collaborating closely with manufacturing engineers to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes. They follow detailed work instructions, interpret 3D drawings and models to set up accurate test configurations, and document results for traceability. Daily tasks also include analyzing test data, preparing reports with actionable insights, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years as a Test Engineer in the Manufacturing space

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Experience creating test programs utilizing Labview

Able to cross collaborate with the manufacturing engineers and follow work instructions

Experience operating dielectric and vibration testing equipment

Ability to interpret 3D drawings and models Preferred background in medical device, automotive, aerospace, etc.
