Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and drive the modernization of our data infrastructure and reporting capabilities. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust data solutions, focusing on data engineering, SQL development, ETL processes, and business intelligence visualization using modern tools such as Power BI, Figma, and Microsoft Fabric. You will play a key role in initiatives like migrating data from on-premises systems to cloud platforms and enhancing data modeling, transformation, and visualization. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, able to work independently, and capable of solving complex problems without extensive guidance.

Remote:

This is a hybrid position. During the contract period, it will be in office. During onboarding, candidate will discuss with Shauna schedule for 3office/2remote schedule.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Processing, Mathematics, Business, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including building and maintaining data pipelines

• 5+ years of experience with SQL scripting and database management

• 5+ years of experience in data visualization and dashboard development

• Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Figma, or Looker

• Proven experience supporting data migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments

• Experience working with patient data (clinical, medical, and/or health insurance) or 3 additional years of experience within data engineering to supplement
