Metro has an immediate opening for a **part-time** experienced Acupuncturist in our Hampton Bays office. You will be responsible for treatments with needles / e-stim / cupping Initials / reevaluations / daily notes tracking and working alongside a team of physical and occupational therapists.

**Job Type:** Part time, with full time potential

**Schedule:** Tues/ Thurs, 9-5pm or 10-6pm

**Pay:** $35-$50/hr

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Assumes responsibility for the evaluation and treatment of patients needing Acupuncturist services.

+ Diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal conditions of spinal column and extremities to prevent disease and correct abnormalities of the body.

+ Examines patients to determine nature and extent of disorder.

+ Performs diagnostic procedures including physical, neurological and orthopedic examinations.

+ Treatment of general medicine and internal medicine conditions including but not limited to gyno, gastro, pulmonary and cardiac.

+ Enhance and expand patient relations when possible.

+ Perform any other duties as needed and/or requested by Metro’s Management team.

Qualifications

+ Master's Degree in Acupuncture required

+ Certified Acupuncturist credentialed from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) preferred.

+ Minimum 2 years performing acupuncture required

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
