• Technical Writer

    GCyber (Alexandria, VA)


    GCYber is seeking a Technical Writer, to support a government customer. The technical writer will write, rewrite and/or edits technical documents as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.

    As the Technical Writer, you will:

    + Researches and gathers technical information by interviewing subject-matter experts, reviewing specifications and engineering materials, and observing production methods.

    + Translates complex technical data into clear, user-friendly content for print and digital publications, including manuals, proposals, websites, and podcasts.

    + Oversees and selects illustrative materials—drawings, diagrams, charts, and graphics—to support and clarify publication objectives.

    + Develops and maintains cataloging systems, records, files, and electronic archives for publication materials.

    + Supports preparation and delivery of technical seminars, business forums, and presentations as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    + Active DoD Secret clearance

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + 8+ years of experience
