Opportunity Overview

As a DevOps Pipeline Automation Intern, you will play a key role in building and optimizing automation workflows that accelerate software delivery and testing. This position offers hands-on experience with modern CI/CD practices and scripting for real-world engineering challenges.

You will:

+ Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.

+ Automate build and test workflows with Python and YAML scripting.

+ Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate regression testing into pipelines.

+ Build scripts to aggregate test results and generate high-level summaries.

+ Support continuous improvement by documenting processes and sharing best practices.

This is a summer internship starting in June 2026. It is onsite in San Jose.

+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

+ Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control systems (SVN or Git).

+ Strong Python scripting skills for automation tasks.

+ Ability to write and maintain YAML-based pipeline definitions.

+ Familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins pipeline configuration.

+ Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., pytest).

+ Knowledge of artifact management and build orchestration.

+ Strong problem-solving and debugging ability.

+ Effective communication and collaboration in a team environment.

+ Attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools quickly.

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation:

The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
