    Position Summary

    Responsible for safely and efficiently dropping off/picking up materials from various vendors and construction sites.​​

    Position Details

    + ​​​Drives delivery trucks to job sites and company destinations. Properly secures and straps down materials safe delivery.

    + ​Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, stages, transports tools, supplies and equipment by hand or using dolly and/or forklift.

    + ​Maintains vehicle cleanliness and reports any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.

    + ​Maintains work area in clean and organized fashion.

    + ​Plans efficient routes and ensures proper and safe stocking of vehicle.

    + ​Maintains accurate delivery documentation and ensures all paperwork is completed properly.

    + ​Performs daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle. Maintains vehicle and equipment maintenance history.

    + ​May provide guidance to junior staff. ​​

    Qualifications

    + ​​High school diploma or equivalent

    + ​5+ years relevant experience, flatbed experience is preferable

    + ​Valid Class A Driver’s license

    + ​​Ability to safely operate a company vehicle

    + ​Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift

    + ​Working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects and related tools and equipment

    + ​Ability to communicate effectively

    + ​Good customer-service skills

    + ​Strong attention to and respect for safety rules and regulations

    + ​Ability to work efficiently in the warehouse and at the construction site
