    About the Role:

    Join CBRE as a Mail Services & Global Trade Compliance Supervisor, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient mailroom operations and critical compliance with international shipping regulations for a dynamic building or campus environment. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a vital support function, blending operational excellence with specialized expertise in global trade.

     

    This role is integral to our Office Operations function, which provides seamless support to our clients, business functions, and individual contributors, fostering a productive and compliant workplace.

    What You'll Do:

    + **Lead & Develop Mail Services Operations:**

    + Supervise all aspects of mailroom operations, including establishing efficient work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff for shipping/receiving duties to ensure comprehensive coverage.

    + Evaluate and develop team performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

    + Conduct regular personnel meetings focused on safety, operational procedures, and evolving best practices.

    + Maintain meticulous records of mailing costs, proactively identifying and implementing cost-saving programs and procedures to enhance efficiency.

    + Develop and maintain comprehensive policy and procedural manuals for mailroom operations, recommending and communicating changes effectively to personnel.

    + **Drive Global Trade & Shipping Compliance:**

    + Ensure the company's import and export operations fully comply with evolving international laws and regulations

    + Manage all international shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely filing.

    + Develop and deliver training to internal teams on global trade compliance issues, including updates to regulations and requirements.

    + Conduct regular audits and monitoring of international shipping activities to ensure ongoing compliance and mitigate risks.

    + Investigate and report any potential violations of global trade regulations, implementing corrective actions as needed.

    What You'll Need:

    + High School Diploma or GED with **3+ years** of progressive experience in mailroom operations or a related field, including prior supervisory or shift manager experience.

    + **Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated experience in Global Trade/Legal compliance, specifically with international shipping regulations.**

    + Demonstrated in-depth understanding of international shipping laws and guidelines, customs regulations, export controls, and sanctions.

    + Proven ability to classify products, manage licenses, and prepare accurate export documentation.

    + Experience in liaising with customs brokers, government agencies, and managing related compliance issues.

    + Exceptional organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset, capable of managing complex documentation and regulatory requirements.

    + Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

     

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

     

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mail Services Supervisor position is$42.00 per hourand the maximum salary for the Mail Services Supervisor is $45.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
