About the role
The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services to Jacksonville, FL client accounts to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Acting as a seller/doer the Sr. Project Manager will partner with CBRE brokers to offer clients commercial real estate solutions.
This job is part of the Project Management function and responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Projects include fit outs/buildouts, renovations and ground up construction for retail, life science, industrial, healthcare, and corporate office clients in the Jacksonville market and local area. **This is a hybrid opportunity and must be local to Jacksonville, FL available 3 days/week in office or on jobsites.**
What you’ll do
Lead all facets of project and program management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for multi-asset facility projects.
Coordinate commercial real estate projects and ensure project team understands and implements safety requirements, operations, policies, and procedures.
Conduct site visits to lead all aspects of the progress of construction and monitor the status of work completed during the delivery schedule
Applying CBRE standards to multifaceted real estate documents related to agreements, contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence). Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view
Manages project reports, stewards account-specific Key Performance Indicators and promotes overall program improvements. Performs training and ongoing mentoring for junior-level staff.
Building relationships with clients to ensure projects are being delivered against established expectations and to explore opportunities for program improvements.
Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification processes; conducts standard requests for proposals; completes bid analysis; recommends resources to clients.
Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources briefed.
What you’ll need
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Prior experience working with local commercial real estate brokers to grow project pipeline
+ Networking with local commercial real estate and construction professionals
+ Prior experience managing budgets, schedules, and costs.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project.
+ An innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
+ Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions and having a broad impact on the business.
+ Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality
