As a **Security Guard - Armed Patrol Retail Full-Time** in **NEW YORK, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while upholding our commitment to outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will help create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. As part of our agile and reliable team, you will interact with individuals throughout the location, respond to situations as needed, and embody our values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity or individuals and report all incidents promptly according to site guidelines.

+ Maintain a visible armed presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unauthorized actions within the retail environment.

+ Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and timely as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
