As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols throughout a residential community, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the residential community.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during assigned shifts.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate and directed by site protocols.

+ Assist residents, visitors, and staff with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.

+ Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific instructions, to support the overall security-related objectives of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required per client requirements.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
