Job Title: Test TechnicianJob Description

Join our innovative team as a Test Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the development and production of next-generation optical communication systems. This position offers a balanced mix of hands-on and desk-based work, overseeing the relationship between engineering development, supply chain interaction, production, and test teams. Success in this role will be determined by the quality, reliability, cost, ease of manufacturing, ease of testing, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee the relationship between engineering development, supply chain interaction, production, and test teams.

+ Evaluate, create, and improve manufacturing test processes using knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.

+ Develop, implement, maintain, and improve current manufacturing test processes.

+ Identify and address problems in the manufacturing test process through testing, evaluation, and analysis.

+ Lead the design for the test process, conduct analyses, and plan facility and equipment changes.

+ Ensure manufacturing tasks are completed on time.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of working on either the first shift (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or the second shift (2:30 PM - 10:30 PM). You will be working with a talented and highly diverse team in a dynamic environment, focusing on the development of optical communication systems. The work involves both hands-on tasks and desk-based responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with globally distinguished partners and be part of a team that is pushing the boundaries of communication technology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hawthorne, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
