Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to machine mechanisms and components used for manufacturing equipment in the glass industry. This position requires expertise in setting up and operating Haas (Vertical), Mazak, and Mitsubishi (Horizontal) machines, with a specific focus on the ability to setup and operate vertical Haas machines. The role involves editing existing programs (g-code) for customization, performing quality control on finished products, and managing additional setups or changeovers for various product lines.

Responsibilities

+ Setup and operate CNC machines, specifically vertical Haas machines.

+ Edit existing programs (g-code) for customization, including simple edits, tool changes, and offsets.

+ Perform quality control on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

+ Conduct additional setups or changeovers for various product lines, typically running 8-20 orders before slight changeovers.

Skills

+ Experience in CNC setup and operation, particularly with vertical Haas machines.

+ Proficiency in CNC editing (g-code), including simple edits, tool changes, and offsets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Preferred 3-5+ years of experience in setup and operation of CNC machines.

+ Experience with casting, particularly cast iron molds, is a plus.

+ Familiarity with billet molds is advantageous.

Shift 5 Days a week

6:00AM - 3:00PM@ Monday-Friday (Morning)

3:00PM - 11:30PM@ Monday-Friday (Afternoon)

**Pay $** 25-$32 depending on experience

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
