Welding Quality Inspector
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Quality Inspector, where you will perform quality checks on welded components and assemblies. Your role will involve inspecting and evaluating defects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and upholding quality standards. A strong understanding of welding processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment are essential for success in this role. You will also be responsible for checking parts for quality and documenting findings on a computer, working from work instructions and blueprints.
Responsibilities
+ Perform quality checks on welded products
+ Inspect and evaluate defects, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
+ Check parts for quality and document findings on a computer.
+ Work off of work instructions and blueprints to execute quality inspections.
+ Maintain high attention to detail while inspecting products.
+ Adapt to schedule changes as needed to meet business requirements.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in saw operation, blueprints, measuring, and inspection.
+ Experience in quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.
+ Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
+ Understanding of weld symbols and welding inspection.
+ Strong computer skills.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
+ Welding Quality Inspection Experience is a plus.
+ Technical schooling is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a large shop with a small shop feel, where cleanliness is prioritized despite occasional noise. The production environment is very clean, and welders will operate within welding booths.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rogers, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
