    Job Title: EM Assembler

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team as an EM Assembler, where you will be responsible for the assembly of joysticks, performing point-to-point soldering, and installing switches and receptors. Your tasks will include soldering on small to medium-sized PCBs, utilizing work instructions through Netsuite Systems, and employing small hand tools, drills, tweezers, and slicers in the assembly and soldering process. You will also engage in harnessing and wiring using strippers and pliers, with some soldering tasks requiring a magnifying glass. The role involves working across 5-6 different stations with opportunities for cross-training in other areas.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble joysticks and perform point-to-point soldering.

    + Install switches and receptors.

    + Solder on small to medium-sized PCBs.

    + Pull up work instructions using Netsuite Systems.

    + Use small hand tools, drills, tweezers, and slicers during the assembly and soldering process.

    + Harness and wire using strippers and pliers.

    + Utilize a magnifying glass for certain soldering tasks.

    + Work at 5-6 different stations and participate in cross-training.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 1 year of EM Assembly experience.

    + Minimum 1 year of point-to-point soldering experience.

    + Ability to use a microscope.

    + Basic computer skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in English or Spanish is acceptable.

    Work Environment

     

    This is a family-owned company with a team of 25 employees, emphasizing a great work culture and environment. The majority of production employees are bilingual in English and Spanish. The manufacturing and assembly area is located on the second floor, which requires the use of stairs.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
