+ Responsible for the daily operations of the sterile processing department
+ Responsible for the supervision of staff assigned to sterile processing
+ Coordinates the decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packing and sterilization of instrumentation
+ Accountable for maintaining the established standards of quality for the department
+ Assist in the development and review of policy and procedures as they apply to sterile processing
+ Assist with sterile processing staff education, training, development and competency
+ Prioritize workflow based on the surgical schedule and case volume
+ Review sterilization logs and scan documentation into CensiTrack
+ Check sterile trays and supplies for integrity and expiration dates
+ Act as a liaison between doctors, staff and vendors
+ Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the department
Job Requirements
+ Minimum 5 years experience in Leadership as a Lead Tech Supervisor in a Trauma facility
+ Familiarity of AAMI and AORN Standards and regulatory agency requirements
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Graduate of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
+ Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required
+ Fire Safety within 90-days
+ Association of Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) Certificate required
Preferred:
+ Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech (CSPDT-CBSPD)

Pay Range
$36.00 - $47.09 /hour
