    Loader Operator

     

    At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always.

     

    Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Loader Operator for Pilgrim’s. The Loader Operator drives a truck equipped with a loader to and from their destination. This employee carries empty cages into the chicken house and loads full cages onto the truck. This position requires CDL licenses.

    Responsibilities:

    + Pre and post trip on trucks and loaders.

    + Must run GPS system in trucks properly.

    + Ensure safety.

    + Catcher birds if needed.

    + Back-Up to crew foreman.

    + Help other loader operators or drivers as needed.

    + Report any damage to farms or equipment.

    + Report any catcher misconduct.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Class A Commercial Driver’s license.

    + 1 to 2 years of experience

    + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

    + Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
