Summary
The Senior Specialist, Performance Marketing Analytics owns analytics reporting and insight generation across SHRM’s full marketing lifecycle. This role translates complex marketing data into actionable intelligence, empowering decision-making across acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives. The Senior Specialist works closely with Growth, Martech, and Channel teams to build dashboards, measure campaign effectiveness, and uncover insights that optimize ROI and fuel SHRM’s integrated marketing engine.
Responsibilities
+ Develop, maintain, and automate marketing performance dashboards and reports using Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), AEP, Power BI, and other analytics platforms.
+ Track performance across the marketing funnel—from awareness to conversion and retention—providing insights that inform channel optimization and budget allocation.
+ Analyze campaign performance and member lifecycle data to identify trends, audience behaviors, and opportunities for improvement.
+ Partner with channel owners to measure campaign attribution, channel lift, and multi-touch impact across paid, owned, and earned media.
+ Support quarterly business reviews and executive reporting with clear narratives and visualizations that connect metrics to outcomes.
+ Collaborate with Martech and Automation teams to ensure accurate tagging, data governance, and integration between platforms (AEM, Marketo, AJO, etc.).
+ Deliver proactive insights to improve segmentation, creative testing, and audience journey performance.
+ Establish and refine benchmarks, KPIs, and scorecards for marketing effectiveness across SHRM’s portfolio.
+ Stay informed on marketing analytics trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance SHRM’s measurement capabilities.
Education & Experience Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
+ Minimum 4–6 years of experience in marketing analytics, campaign reporting, or performance measurement.
+ Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics, CJA, or comparable platforms; strong data visualization skills in Power BI or Tableau.
+ Proven ability to translate data into insights and recommendations that influence marketing strategy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills with deep understanding of marketing funnel metrics, attribution models, and lifecycle performance.
+ Proficiency in data manipulation tools and platforms (Excel, SQL, CJA, AEP).
+ Excellent communication and storytelling ability—able to convey insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
+ Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data governance principles.
+ Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple analytical priorities simultaneously.
+ Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as AJO, Marketo, and AEM preferred.

Work Environment
Hybrid Schedule (3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote):
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesday through Thursday in office and Monday and Friday remote. Employees must be available during standard business hours, with core hours beginning between 8:00–9:00 a.m. and concluding between 5:00–6:00 p.m. local time.

_The hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
