    Job Title: Sr. Accounting Consultant

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Sr. Accounting Consultant with over 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes to help with an Epicor implementation.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and execute month-end close processes efficiently.

    + Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    + Perform reconciliations and journal entries accurately and timely.

    + Utilize accounting software to enhance processes and reporting.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.

    + Proficiency in managing month-end close processes.

    + Strong skills in reconciliation and journal entry management.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with Sage and Expensify is advantageous but not required.

    + Familiarity with QuickBooks is highly valued.

    + Experience with Bill.com is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The role involves working with various accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focusing on precision and efficiency. Dress code is business casual.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Southington, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.
