Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking an organized, communicative, and proactive professional to support several high-profile mayoral transitions nationwide. You will work closely with civic leaders to advise on incoming administration policy priorities and lead research workstreams, reporting directly to a centralized Project Manager.
Responsibilities
+ Liaise directly with committee chairs and support the Mayor-Elect’s transition committee with planning and documentation.
+ Facilitate committee meetings and discussions with civic leaders and stakeholders.
+ Coordinate and execute a citywide survey to gather public input on policy priorities.
+ Conduct research, synthesize results, and write clear and actionable policy recommendations.
+ Ensure timely communication and reporting to leadership.
Essential Skills
+ Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
+ Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
+ Research and analytical capability to interpret data, conduct case studies, synthesize findings, and write clear recommendations.
+ Proactive problem-solver who can work independently and collaboratively.
+ Deep familiarity with local government operations, public policy, or civic engagement preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to build and manage important relationships for clients.
+ Flexible and adaptable to evolving priorities.
+ Availability to travel and attend in-person events and meetings.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
